  • Adults (Ages 15-59): $8.85 + HST

Maple Syrup by Lamplight

March 14, 21, 27, 28 and April 4 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.  

Tap into Spring with a magnificent evening that begins with a guided twilight tour of Kortright’s Maple sugar bush. Taste real maple syrup, visit our sugar shack and learn about old fashioned and modern methods of maple syrup production. Enjoy a warm campfire and a fire-side treat!

Maple Syrup Guided Hikes

Date & Times (1.5 hour Guided Hikes)

  • March 14th – 9:00, max of 40 participants
  • March 15th – 12:00, max of 20 participants
  • March 16 – 20th – 1:00, max of 40 participants each day
  • March 21-22nd 9:00, max of 40 participants and 9:30, max of 40 particpants

Cost

  • $20 incl HST for Adults
  • $16.50 incl HST for Seniors (60+) and Children (5-14)
  • Children 4 and under free

Join a pre-registered Maple Syrup guided hike! On this 1.5 hour walk, your guide will share information and stories about the things you are seeing. Turn back the clock as you head down the trail learning about Early Indigenous, Early European Settler and Modern production methods of sap harvesting, as well as sugar and syrup production. You can try out an old-fashioned hand drill and taste maple syrup warmed by the fire. On the way back to the Visitor’s Centre, your guide will answer questions you may have.

Ticket price also includes festival admission. Once the guided tour is finished, you are welcome to enjoy the rest of the festival activities.

Please meet your guide in the Visitor’s Centre 10 minutes prior to the start of your tour. Late arrivals may have trouble catching up to the tour.
